I am American but have a knack for languages (at least the Romance languages) and have become very proficient (although not native) in Spanish. I have also taken courses in Italian and find this easy to learn as well but do not get the reinforcement. Aside from teaching and being a call-center interpreter, what can I do?

I'm not sure what a call-center interpreter is, but there are lots of cool interpreter or translator jobs, especially if you have a specific kind of training (nursing, law, whatever).

You can work for US companies who have extensive business relations with Spain/Italy/South America. Your language abilities will definitely be very helpful in such companies.
