If it takes only a few hours for you to feel this way, then I strongly suggest you see your primary care doctor about it and soon. This is not normal. Your blood glucose may be low and you may be hypoglycemic.

I see that some people are encouraging you to consume sugar. This will help treat an episode of the shakes but to prevent them in the first place, you'll need to maintain your carbohydrate intake and include protein by eating regular meals and have a between-meal snack, such as a turkey sandiwch and a glass of milk.

Simple sugars like fructose and galactose are quickly utilized and don't last long. Carbohydrates are more complex sugars that last over the long run. You need a balance.

That's a symptom of your blood sugare being low. The lack of glucose in your system can cause your body to become shaky and your brain loses concentration and dizziness is common. Glucose is like fuel in your car, you need it to function. I'm hypoglycemic, so this happens to me a lot - you need to consult your dr if this happens to you a lot - you'll need immediate attention for low blood sugar levels to make sure you're not diabetic or to make sure that there isn't a tumor on you pancreas preventing the production of insulin or increasing the production of insulin. It's just a series of blood tests and maybe an ultrasound - nothing big. Just try to eat three main meals and snack between them. Carbs help keep your blood sugar stabilized.

If you're starting to feel like that after just a few hours, then you should eat or drink. Preferably something high in sugar. I have fainted before, but only after not eating for over a full 24 hours (and no, not by choice, because of illness and pulling of wisdom teeth). Before you faint, you start feeling very lightheaded, dehydrated, weak, and your vision begins to blur right before you black out. It is not something you have to go through and can very well be avoided, so please eat.

Oh, you're pregnant. I read in the book 'What to Expect When You're Expecting' and that feeling is actually normal. I don't remember exactly why, but probably something to do with the increase of hormones. But if it continues and happens often, you should see your doctor.

Could be Hypoglycemia - hy-po-gly-ce-mi-a (n.)
An abnormally low level of sugar in the blood.

In hypoglycemia, the pancreas sends out too much insulin and the blood sugar plummets below the level necessary to maintain well-being.

Since all the cells of the body, especially the brain cells, use glucose for fuel, a blood glucose level that is too low starves the cells of needed fuel, causing both physical and emotional symptoms.
But have it checked out...go for a simple test....blood or urine tests

That feeling is caused by low blood sugar. See your doc and get tested for hypoglycemia. In the meantime be sure to eat 3 meals a day and a high protein snack mid morning, mid afternoon and at bedtime to help keep your blood sugar level,

Try snackin on grapes. They are fruit so healthy, and they are small so you can snack on a few at a time without making you feel bloated. Try and eat a few every half hour or so and hopefully within a few hours your stomach should be ready for a normal meal. If you still have problems, see a doctor!

I get that too especially if I am active and then stop.
A handfull of Raisins and milk or peanut butter on bread are good to stop it quickly as you need some sugar and protien .
Make sure you eat a breakfast with slow release carbs like porridge or museli.

Hunger and dehydration. You should always have a good breakfast. Lunch. Snacks. Lots of water. And a sensible dinner. And before going to bed have a cheese sandwich and a glass of orange juice. Don't ever deprive yourself of food for a long period of time always have snacks in between. Like fruits or nuts. Hope you feel better.

If you cant eat ,drink , your body can manage without food for a while. May be you need to eat little but often and perhaps your symptoms are due to low sugar. Natural fruit sugar is best.

That's real hunger not what we usually call hunger which is just our appetite. It passes after about five hours and you just feel slightly light-headed.

It's good to experience this it's what the world's less fortunate people live with all the time!
