The Bible is not proof, I'm talking geological evidence that there was a world wide flood.
Also here are some other questions:
-Where'd the water go?
-How did Noah fit 2 of EVERY animal on that ark?
-How did Noah get every bacteria on the ark
-How did they know it was an olive branch (or fig branch) after just a maximum of one week, how did the distinguishing leaves grow back in one week from a tree that was just drowned for forty or so days?
And while you're at it, why is there no mention of the ice age in the Bible....I never got a good answer on that one.

"1: The Bible does not say that the flood covered the entire planet"
18 The waters rose and increased greatly on the earth, and the ark floated on the surface of the water. 19 They rose greatly on the earth, and all the high mountains under the entire heavens were covered. 20 The waters rose and covered the mountains to a depth of more than twenty feet.

"2: The Bible does not say that Noah gather two of every animal on the planet"
19 You are to bring into the ark two of all living creatures, male and female, to keep them alive with you. 20 Two of every kind of bird, of every kind of animal and of every kind of creature that moves along the ground will come to you to be kept alive.
"3: The Bible does not say that Noah gathered any organisms beyond those in the animal kingdom"
If you knew anyhing about science you would understand everything alive (that's not a plant) is an animal. But you don't even know anything about the Bible.

Noah's arch is a common story that grew from other religions in the area (IE zionism). If you look where the stories came from it was the Tigris and Euphrates rivers (present day Iraq). Many scientists agree, based on massive sediment deposits(such as the sudden transgression of limestone, shale and sandstone) that a flood did happen in that area.
Then you have to take into the account that the people who wrote the stories couldn't possibly have known how massive the world is. So when they say the world did flood, technically their world flooded because they had not ventured any farther than the middle east due to geographic obstacles.
Noah fitting 2 of every animal into the arch was probably false and just figurative speech to draw the listeners into the story. It's also true that their are more than one Arch's found in the middle east, so NOAH being the only one is a complete understatement.
As for the ice age, the bible doesn't mention it because it didn't happen during any age of written history. Also the area where Christianity was created wasn't influenced by cold weather like you think an ice age would. The middle east at the time was a temperate zone and not a desert.

Is there proof of "a" flood? Yes. There are independent sources that confirm "a" flood happened around the Mesopotamia area and affected a lot of people.
But a world-wide flood? That also follows the story of Noah? Absolutely not. In addition to the quesitons you posted, there are others. Where's the biological evidence that we were all descended from 6 people who lived less than 6,000 years ago? Was there enough rain to make the oceans fresh-water, or did they remain salt water? In either case, the ark would have to have tanks for all of the aquatic species of one kind if the other were in the "ocean". How did Noah get the millions and millions of insect species on the ark? How did he have enough animals to keep the meat-eating animals fed? People who believe in such stuff either haven't read the Bible, have no thinking skills, or believe in a God that would be deceitful and make it look like it never happened.

Dont try to take every story from the bible and try to figure it out. Its more or less the story of angels. angels were coming down from the heavens and mating with the humens, which resulted in giants and humans with great powers that they abused. Noahs family had a pure blood line, they never mixed with the angels in other words so God didnt want to eliminate them. Ice age wasnt mentioned because that was of another world, not the earth with adam and eve the earth I am sure existed before adam and eve, the bible only mentions the relevent parts that pertain to human beings. Life is not easy, the bible is a good reference on how to live life a little easier.

How did kangaroos get to Australia did Noah stop by during the flood and drop them off? There are many stories that make Noah's Ark ridiculous. But it's the same with the entire Bible. Expose one little thing and it falls like a house of cards.

As chaotic pointed out, there is geological proof of mass flooding in the Middle East. And as he further asserted, this would make it seem that the whole world is flooding. A person's "world" at that time was obviously limited and quite small. As such, this can just show us that the authors of the Bible "thought" that the whole world was flooded and thus the story.

Maybe you should look at other books like "The Quran"
- Noah's Ark has been found on the Turkish-Iranian border, 32 kilometers from Mount Arafat, according to the leader of a team of scientists that has been investigating the site for six years.
The Turkish government is so convinced by the findings that, after years of intransigence, it has designated the site one of special archaeological interest and agreed to its excavation next summer.
The remote site contains a buried, ship-like object, resting an altitude of 2,300 meters. At 170 meters long and 45 meters wide, it conforms almost exactly to the 300 cubit by 50 cubit boat that God told Noah to build, according to Genesis 6 in the Bible.
On surrounding terrain, the American and Middle Eastern scientists have identified huge stones with holes carved at one end, which they believe are "drogue-stones," dragged behind ships in the ancient world to stabilize them. Radar soundings indicate unusual levels of iron-oxide distribution.
Salih Bayraktutan, head of geology at Turkey's Ataturk University, estimates the age of the 'vessel' at more than 100,000 years (According to the Bible, Adam the first of human beings was created some 6000 years ago, as you can see this is a clear contradiction to the Bible. The Qur'ân however doesn't specify the when Adam was born, it does say the human beings were created a long time ago.) "It is a man-made structure and for sure it is Noah's Ark." The site is directly below the mountain of Al-Judi, named in the Koran (Qur'ân) as the Ark's resting place.
David Fasold, an American shipwreck specialist with no religious affiliation, has led the investigation. He says subsurface radar surveys of the site have produced "very good pictures." "The radar imagery at about 25 meters down from the stern is so clear that you can count the floorboards between the walls."
He believes the team has found the fossilized remains of the upper deck and that the original reed substructure has disappeared. But the findings have infuriated the scores of Christian Ark-hunters who travel to Turkey, convinced the Ark will only be found on Mount Ararat.
Fasold, who calls himself an "Archeologist," also argues that it was not a great flood that pushed the Ark into the mountains. He says it was "an astronomical event causing a tectonic upheaval, a tidal bore causing gravitational pull in the ocean waters that forced the boat into the mountains."
Some of Fasold's team of geophysicists and geologists are reserving final judgment until the excavation and carbon-dating. But in a British TV series on the environment next month, team member Vendyl Jones, a Middle East archaeologist and inspiration for film character Indiana Jones, says it is "between maybe and probably" that they have found Noah's Ark.
The Qur'ânic verse detailing about the resting place of the Noah's Ark is found in Chapter Hud, verse 44 (Qur'ân 11:44). The verse says: When the word went forth: "O earth! swallow up thy water and O sky! withhold (thy rain)!" and the water abated and the matter was ended. The Ark rested on Mount Judi and the word went forth: "Away with those who do wrong!"
The 49th verse of the same Chapter says: "Such are some of the stories of the Unseen which We have revealed unto you: before this neither you nor your people knew them. So persevere patiently: for the end is for those who are righteous."

Before I answer this question, I have to difuse the fantasy world you live in:
1: The Bible does not say that the flood covered the entire planet
2: The Bible does not say that Noah gather two of every animal on the planet
3: The Bible does not say that Noah gathered any organisms beyond those in the animal kingdom
(This is really what I meant when I asked if non-Christians feel the need to tell Christians what they believe before they criticise. It don't work with me!)
Now: what kind of proof do you need to support what the Bible ACTUALLY says?
I have about 5000 manuscripts translated by Oxford University.
What do you have?

There is some geological proof that there was some sort of mass flooding in or around the middle east several thousand years ago. To the people who live there it would have seemed that the whole world was being flooded.

The Bible is not a science book. Those stories are in there to teach us about God and his relationship to humans. If you focus on these details, you lose the point.
