I would like to make something that most people would enjoy. Preferably using vodka or tequilla. Also, something easy. I plan on making around 150-200 shots. Any ideas? Please be specific.

i love Red Headed Sluts! They are my favs and practically everyone likes them, and like you said try to pick a shot with vodka...its the universal hard liquor everyone likes (although the red headed sluts use jager)! The other liquors have the few people who dont favor them!

OR

Margarita Jello Shots(i know its a jello shot but its diffrent and good)

6 ounces Lime Jello (large box)
16 ounces Water (boiling)
6 ounces Tequila
2 ounces Triple Sec
1 ounce Lime Juice
1 ounce Water (cold)
Mix the jello mix with the boiling water until the powder is fully dissolved and then add the rest of the water and the alcohol. Pour the mixture into either shot glasses or paper cups. Shot glasses are more attractive, but the paper cups are easier to eat from.

Drunken Watermelon.

Your going to need two watermelon's. You cut a hole in one, and use a spoon to core out about half the watermelon. Mash the other half with the spoon. You use the second watermelon to make a plug for the first.

Now take juice from the second watermelon, with pineapple and orange juice and grenadine, and fill up the first about half way. Now you want to add Dark Spiced Rums, plus light rum, and flavored liquors like pineapple (or more Rum in Malibu) and strawberry liquor. Put it in the freezer for two hours, and you'll have a good amount for shots or mixed drinks.

Do something you can mix in advance, in large amounts such as:

Kamikaze

4 parts vodka
2 parts Cointreau
1 part lime mix

or

Do your shots straight, offer vodka, tequila and maybe something a little more tame like Baileys or Schnapps.

I thing this is a good way to go, personally I like this method - check out Martha Stewart's way to serve up your shots:

Easy, functional and attractive. Nice work Martha!

Grey Goose L'Orange isn't bad by iteself for a shot. Smooth vodka, and a hint of orange aftertaste. Large bottle 1.75 liters is approx. 40 shots.

Tequila straight isn't bad either, if you can handle it. Salt and lime would be a good addition.

You should make lemon drops. All you need is one ounce of Absolut Citron per shot. You dip the glass in water and make a sugar ring and add a slice of lemon. They are really good and they probably won't make people as sick as tequila.

A good novelty drink is the Chocolate Cake Shot.

The impression of chocolate cake is really something. They're obnoxiously sweet, however, so you might want to have something else as well.
