I purchased a HDD(Hard Drive) Camcorder, the only thing is, I got last year's model, and the only one they had left was the floor model. It works great and is in great condition, but I didn't get any software with it. Although a $700 camera for $250 is awesome!

Anyway, I checked the website and there isn't a driver available for my model. I tried to just plug it into my computer, and I was able to browse the 'Removable Disk', but there aren't any video files (well, any that are OBVIOUS video files) in any of the folders.

They must be in another format, is there a universal HDD camcorder driver that I can use to get the videos on my camcorder onto my computer. Or another way(Program or otherwise) to simply get them off my camcorder's Hard Disk and onto my computer as video files?

THANKS!

You Don't really need the driver since it is being recognized by the pc, but what you need is a capturing or editing software that can read the file extension of the camcorder's file.

Try geting a Nero6 or higher software (other software might work too so experiment) to edit and burn your videos.
