just push the cork inside the bottle...it will float in there but it gets the job done....I've done this plenty of times.

Use a pen and something hard to hit the cork down...good luck

Hold the bottle between your knees, then push the cork in with the back of a knife or fork. but slowly so it doesn't spill out as soon as the cork is free inside the bottle.

Desperate are we? Well, do you have a Swiss Army Knife? Usually there is either a corkscrew or another implement on them that will work in a pinch. Do you have a can opener that also has a corkscrew in it? You can also try to get it out using two shrimp forks, or, you can try pushing it into the bottle. If you are extremely brave and stupid, you can try knocking off the tip of the bottle with a sabre or saw. It would be easier to go to Safeway and just get one though.

If you've got a screw and a screwdriver you've got a corkscrew. Take the screwdriver, hold the screw in place in the middle of the cork and screw in the screw. Once the screw is screwed in the cork securely tug on the screw as to wiggle or pop out the cork. Hope that helps.

If you use one of these suggestions and have any leftover wine just put in a jar with a tight lid, a lid with a rubber gasket inside helps; anyway, after capping the wine just store it upside down in the fridge until you want more.

metal coat hanger bent as tight hook at end, pushed thru and pulled up on angle, maybe screwdriver to make hole.

if you have a big bolt, screw, use that just like a cork screw, drywall screw can work, wide teeth.

can always just push it in, and just have this as the time to drink that bottle.

if I think of more....I'll repost

Shove a blade down into the bottle. Be ready to strain.

Find a screw, a pair of pliars, first insert the screw at aprox 30-45degree angle, use a screwdriver to insert it as deep as possible, use the pliars on the head of the screw and pull.
