I crave attention and my bf isn't giving me that attention. Is it something I should work on and deal with or move on to someone that will give me A LOT of attention?

How much attention are we talking here? If you are asking him to give up his life and friends to spend all of his free time with you, that is too much. I don't think anyone should expect that. If you are merely expecting him to make some time for you and figure out a way to include you in his friends life mix, than it may not be too unreasonable. One would only have to expect that the person you are with wants to spend time with you as much as you do with them, and you can both find a comfortable and acceptable mix.

I don't know how much my answer will help you (I'm sorry in advance) because I don't know if the problem is you asking for too much attention, your boyfriend not giving enough, or a combination of the two. I personally have dated women whom I thought asked for too much attention at times. For example.....I watch very little television, with the exception being 11:00 Saturday night when Saturday Night Live and Mad TV are on (I love sketch comedy shows). Why is that at that particular point, when I'm watching a show I've been looking forward to all week, have the women I've dated chosen to engage in an endless, deep conversation? They sit there like, "pay attention to me right now." I'm not saying don't talk during those shows, but do we have to talk about something deep while we're watching mindless entertainment? That's the beauty of shows like those...no brain required!

It depends on what kind of attention you are asking for. If you are one of those girls who wants your boyfriend to hang out and all that you do is sit and stare at the tv then yes you are asking too much. Also if he has other responsibilities work, school, family, then you need to get over that and realize that you aren't the only person in his world. If you are asking him to do something that you both enjoy and he is turning you down to sit at home alone then he is not giving you enough attention.

Does this happen to all your bfs in the past or just this one? If it happens to all your bfs before then you have the problem with wanting the attention too much! If its with this guy only then dump him. :P Too many fish in the ocean to waste your time on a guy who is busy with other things. :o)
