Latin is easy to pronounce, these names have come from Latin through other languages. In Latin they would both be Bennett, the French would say the first Ben-ay. Just go with it, whatever works for you will be okay.

Bennet is English, not Latin. It is a herb. It has been in English since Middle English but was originally from the Latin herba benedicta, a herb said to put the devil to flight.
