You could try leaving the curtain open so morning light comes into your room. People are naturally synched up with the sun. Force yourself out of bed at the break of dawn but then come into the day slowly with a cup of hot tea and a good long stare out the window. Make sure you get your heart rate up for a solid 1/2 hour during the middle of the day with a good cardio workout (not too close to bed time). Then make sure you leave yourself some time in the evening to kick back and empty your brain out. Seriously, follow the sun, it works. Kick cafeine if possible and check out some meditation and breathing techniques. Good luck. Sleep is too awesome to miss out on!

You are a night owl. If you can skip the nap, or shorten it to less than an hour, you may sleep better at night, but you still will want to sleep late on the week end. In theory, if you have exercise in the morning, like walking or jogging, you will help to reset your clock so that you can sleep better at night. Melatonin also helps. Look at anxiety in the evening, if you get revved up exercise for 20 minutes about 2 hours before bed can help.Get your doctor to check your thyroid levels, Otherwise, enjoy the extra time you have at night, read, take up a hobby, paint, and don't worry about it. Assume this is God's gift to help you be productive after work.
