I am thirteen, actually.
I would have thought my extreme insecurity and immaturity showed it.

no. it's not weird. not at all. the only reason you would even think that its weird is probably cause all your fellow classmates are dating- dont feel presured... when you feel like your ready to date... go for it... but dont feel presure to do something just because everybody else is.

Nothing weird about that at all. You are so young and I'm sure you've been told many times b4 that you have PLENTY of time to date. Why get yourself all worn out on the dating games this early? Kids/Teens are in a hurry to grow up and start experiencing everything way too fast these days. Your life will be so much better, less stressful and drama-free as long as you hold off on the guys for now. Focus on you, and becoming a smart, confident young lady who doesnt need any silly boys dragging her down just yet. Plus, as you get older guys will love the fact that you are independent and not all about trying to find someone. And if one day you do decide to start dating, please make sure you've built up enough confidence in yourself to know u deserve the guys who have good intentions from the ones that dont, otherwise guys will take advantage of you and use you. Just be smart and take your time. Good things come to those who wait ;-)

Wow times have changed ------ I may be too old to advise you and I am only 37
You should be going out to the Mall or playing sports with both guys and girls in a group setting Not going on a one to one date .
Get involved in an activity that interests you Soccer baseball knitting it doesn't matter as long as it is an activity that puts you in a group and social setting and you like that activity

No, it is not weird that u are thirteen and never dated! You're still young and got plenty of time to date! I am a teenager too but older than u and i still haven't dated!

First of all I doubt your thirteen and asking that question on here... by chance you really are. Guys are shy and insecure at your age... I'm sure it has very little to do with you, keep your head up!

no, well my mom wouldn't let me date till i was 16 (of course i had some lil boyfriends here and there before then) but the guys i thought didn't like me in middle school and in high school actually came out later in life and told me they had crushes on me. so maybe they do like u but are scarred to confront u or think they are not ur type.

No is not weird that you have never dated. There are people alot older than you and have never been on a date. It may not have anything to do about your looks at all.
