when I asked my brother for getting a girlfriend (he has a girlfriend), and here's is what I wrote in the email, I paraphrased it to condense it.

"Are there any pointers on to getting a girlfriend? I never had an intimate relationship nor have a big amount of female friends. Just because a female is your friend, that doesn't mean that she will become your girlfriend. I know that 1st appearance matter so I will stop biting my nails permanently."

He is in college while I am at home. I emailed that email since Feb 10, 2007 and he didn't reply. When he got home, I asked about him about it and he said he didn't replied to it since he didn't know what to say (aka, he thinks it was wierd). In my opinion, he's the wierd one. The relationship between my brother and I is that I never talk to him (online or phone). AKA, our communication is dead.

This is YOUR brothers problem...about how he emails or talks with you(which sounds like nil to me!) I wouldn't bother with him...if he can't help you, there are friends who are much better at helping you....besides...he doesn't sound like a great person to me....there are people like this...I have met some..and they are NO Help!!!

IF you want to find a nice person to be in a relationship with....try online groups...I wouldn't recommend match.com however....I have met some doozies on that site..and YIKES...I went out with the "Devil" himself! LOL! I met my hubby online on a military site (that I thought that I had "made up" but, found out later..it is a huge military site! LOL!) I met my hubby to be...on an Air Force Forum...talking about the Stealth Bomber..(Jet...the F-117)! I love the design of that jet!! IT is really beautiful...it also reminds me of origami!! LOL!) but, find a forum or a group that you feel bests describes you! There are so many out there...hey, and you might even meet a nice lady perhaps on myspace.com...as my hubby's youngest son...met a lady he has fallen for...on that site!!! No kidding!!! SO, I urge you to try and just go for the gusto....there are a lot of women who just can't find somebody who just might love them a whole lot!!!
I nearly gave up, myself....where I used to live..there are guys that only care about what you look like...and my hubby and I met...without seeing one another...and my last relationship..I met my ex-boyfriend on the c.b. radio!!! So you just never know..where you will meet your "one and only"!!!

I wish you the very best!!
CHeers! to finding the love of your life!!!

Doesn't seam he has time for u-sad but seams true. U making all the effort to communicate with him, but i think he is so occupied with his gf and studies, u don't feature in his schedule.

Stop talking to a brick wall (someone who isn't willing to help u), and making these efforts of communication (its useless if its one-sided)

Ask a friend these questions, and learn to depend on yourself, its difficult to except i know, but carrying on might just damage ur self confidence.

you answered your own question. He was not comfortable answering that question with you, his brother. Continue to email him about general things to ease him into communicating with you. No heavy questions for now tho.
Another things, girls only notice if your nails are clean and not too long. We don't care if you bite them.

Your brother didn't care. You can choose your friends but not your family. Talk to your friends and ask them.
