good question...I was raised in a strict christian home and thankful that I was. However there are so many questions. If people die and pass on to heaven...then where is this place? Is it within the Milky Way Galaxy? Or beyond? If our bodies stay here and only our souls go to heaven...then what form will we take when we get there? Who actually wrote the Bible? and the Koran? Why do Catholics have to confess their sins to one of their priest or elders? Was Jesus a homeless person? Is he really going to return? Will there be a rapture? If so...how strong does your faith have to be to qualify? I always believed in the big bang theory...but I believe God made it happen. How it all fits together though is beyond me. Guess you won't know until you die...but then if it's not true you really won't know...because you will be dead. I believe religion is a good way of life and a great way to raise your kids. However at the same time it seems like it creates a lot of conflict in the world. Could it be the grand conspiracy theory? A scheme planned by people in power thousands of years ago?

Good question. I'd say it depends in how you believe. I don't know anyone who has seen God and had God speak to them for sure..with proof. It is hear say. I am Native American and I believe there is a creator of all things; Grandfather Great Spirit. I also believe in Mother Earth. I also pray to the Spirits. To be honest it is hear say and the way one is raised. Is there a heaven and hell? I do not believe in that. I believe that when we die that is the end as we know it, we go back to Mother Earth and from there we feed other living things, so does that mean we go on in other things...in a way yes, but I don't think we are reborn into a heaven or hell. You have a good question. One I have wondered about. So I say in my opinion no, there is not "a God up there". It is just what people are saying. I just depends on what you believe in. Just my opinion. I hope you find the answer you are looking for.

Well, the only way to REALLY know is when we die. But until then...

It's what YOU believe in, is the bottom line here, you either do or you don't.

As far as I am concerned, God is right here within me, beside me, all around me. He is in the face of my lover, in the playful paws of my cats, as a yellow jonquil grows in my garden, or a seal basking in the harbor, in the joyful laughter of my nieces and nephews. He resides in the most deep reaches of my soul, quietly guiding me through life.

Yes, I KNOW He exists, but, then, I have MY answer, you will have to find YOURS.

yes. Look at this world and its beauty. Creation itself screams that there is a God. The fact that you exist and that you can even ask the question, is there a God is evidence.

I highly doubt it. Look at this place. Does this look like something that some so called god created?...
