I already have one tattoo. Its a Mitsubishi logo with three stars going down the side of it. Its red and black and its right along the line of my pants, kind of on my hip, but not exactly.. its in the front.

Anyways! I want to get a girlier tattoo with more meaning. I've decided to get a daisy. Its girly, and its my dad's birth flower. He is extremely important to me, and I want the constant reminder of who has had the biggest influence on my life growing up and been my rock while I was going threw a lot of really painful things. I think its going to be a daisy with some short vines coming off of it.

I really need some input on where it should go. Its going to be about 4 inches long and I DON'T want it in the "tramp stamp" area. I just dont know where else it would look good, and be able to be easily covered, as I'm going to be a teacher and can't have visible tattoos.

Any suggestions?

LOL.. just to add in, I want a girlier tattoo because I people are constantly like what the H is wrong with this chick, a MITSU logo??? I don't want people to think thats all I'm about, because thats not how it is! I also am kind of a wimp when it comes to pain. The second time I got tattooed [filling the logo and adding the stars] it wasn't as bad, but it still hurt. mostly, I'm just not a fan of the bone. Unfortunately I REALLY like the foot idea, I just don't know If I could handle it lol.

Oh and too the guy who said not to do it because he doesn't like tattoo's... I already have one, so what is one more going to hurt? I like my tattoo and my idea for my next one, so I am pretty set on it. I'm going to do it either way. No offense, but your answer was pointless and what I was looking for at all.

I just got my first one and I got it on right on top of my hip bone which as far as placement goes I love...so that's one suggestion. But how about on the side of your hip centered wrapping around to your stomach/hip and back on the other side? So long as you don't wear crop tops to teach school it should be easy to cover, not to mention it's in a fattier area which should make it less painful. Remember with foot/ankle tattoos you can never wear any kind of sandal, something to keep in mind. Love the tattoo for your dad, that's a great idea might have to get one of those myself. Good luck!

I was thinking along the line of your back, between your shoulder blades, slightly off to one side or angled.

Glad to hear your father was and is such a great influence in your life. I hope you tell him, and about why this tatoo has been chosen. Let the people you love know how much they mean to you, you never know how long they'll be here to tell! You also never know if they'll always be able to hear and comprehend you!

Is the "tramp stamp" area on the lower back just below the waistline? Never heard that term before.

Blessings,
Rani

First of all, I have a battle going on with the term "tramp stamp." That term must go. Anyhow, if you want it hidden, I would go with the back of the shoulder blade, or hip/butt area. It is ultimately up to you as the wearer though. Good luck.

Hey Commietommie. She was asking for an opinion on a life decision. Not your narrow minded rant. Open your mind a little and show some respect. My wife has many tats, and is very beautiful. She has never done coke either.

I'm going to school to be a teacher too I love the birth flower idea for your dad that's awsome, anyway I'm getting all mine done on my back and shoulders, for you I would say on either side of the middle back, like lower back but off to the right or left. That's my favorite spot for a tattoo on girls.

Get it on your right shoulder blade, even though this might not even apply to you but anyway on your right shoulder blade is where the beautiful angels guide over you (pacific island old saying) and its not a trashy place, i totally get what you mean and that's so beautiful how you want to get that such a deep meaning maybe you can add you dads name in small fancy writing.. that would look hott and beautiful at the same time. GOOD LUCK!

Under your clavicle but above your breast? Foot. Maybe the opposite side of your other tattoo...like not quite your tummy but to the right or left of your navel maybe 5-7 inches away from it. I have a tattoo there and its too cute.

In my opinion there are only 4 or 5 reasonable places a girl can get a tattoo without making her look like a goddamn coked out biker whore, and you should limit yourself to 2 or 3 tattoos max... depending on size and place. Please don't get it on your breast or over it. Why would you want to cover up something that is so nice to look at. Don't put it on your shoulder or shoulder blades, and for the love of christ don't put it on your arms. I would suggest the right lower back, close to the top of the ***, but it's your body, ruin it the way you want.

I think the top of your foot would be great. It is pretty and can be covered at any time you want it to be.

On the back of your neck, on your upper thigh, on your foot. It just depends on how much pain you can handle.
