Some people that claim to be Christians are not truly CHRISTIANS . Some pretend for money , some for praise, some for political reasons. Only by accepting Jesus in your heart you are truly a christian. They might fool people but you can't fool the father. I am so sorry that these so called Christians make you believe that they are an example Christianity. Hypocrites are one of the main barriers that keep people form coming to Christ. These people will be judged even more harshly than a non-Christians .Jesus said the most important commandment was to love you neighbor as you love your self. If we all just do that what a wonderful world it would be. GOD BLESS I AM THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE NO ONE CAN COME TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH ME JOHN 14:6

Just because we are Christians doesn't mean we don't still sin like everyone else. Non-Christians seem to have this profile that they think Christians fit into which mean, people think Christians claim to be perfect and sinless because they are saved. That could not be any further from the truth. The difference between Christians and unsaved people, is the fact that Christians know they're going to heaven and have trusted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. There should also be a difference in the way Christians act towards other people, but since we all sin, we all do things we shouldn't...

First of all, what is the nature of a Christian in your opinion?
I'm assuming that you mean that a Christian should be a better person than someone else.
Being Christian doesn't mean that one is perfect, it means that one is a sinner who realizes that they need God's forgiveness. Certainly, people who are Christian (ideally should) try to follow God's laws, but no one is perfect, and that's actually the whole point.

2 Timothy 2:24 "But a slave of the Lord does not need to fight, but needs to be gentle toward all, qualified to teach, keeping himself restrained under evil."
1 Peter 3:15 "But sanctify the Christ as Lord in your hearts, always ready to make a defense before everyone that demands of you a reason for the hope in you, but doing so together with a mild temper and deep respect."
We all have the tendency to sin and are imperfect so....Can it be blamed on nature or not applying Bible counsel in their life? Is it not possible to take on a new personality when scriptual wisdom reaches our heart?
2 Timothy 3:1-7 "But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away. 6 For from these arise those men who slyly work their way into households and lead as their captives weak women loaded down with sins, led by various desires, 7 always learning and yet never able to come to an accurate knowledge of truth.
Notice verse 5.

You mean those who claim to be Christians. Those whom you can see Christ in them are the Christians who are really walking in their faith. It is not so much by just what they do but who they are. Being is more than doing to be a true Christian.

Hypocritical
But let me ask you, Do you feel that just because a person proclaims to be a Christian that He/She is not to ever show anger, because if you think this then you are truly wrong.
God Himself has shown His anger towards those who do not follow Him. The Bible is the proof.

It's an insult to the word religion, why follow a religion if you can't practice it!
This a common thing, especially with Christians, most of them think as long as they say they are Christians they can do or say whatever they want!

there is no such thing as a Christian by name. Christianity is a description of your character, it means a follower of Christ. How can you be a real Christian without having the nature of Christ dwelling in you?
Impossible, unless all of us can be one thing, but really are another, i shudder to think.
