there isnt a way to 'tell her nicely'....its going to hurt her, and she might cry, but im sure, if she thinks about it, and is smart.....(like me! JK) that she would rather have you tell her now, than lead her on...it could save her from a lot more heartache if you tell her sooner than later.

Tell her truth. If your having a difficult time just tell her that life isn't being easy to you right now and you dont feel like you have the energy to put into a relationship but you'd like to remain friends. Ending a relationship isn't easy so make sure you sugar-coat your words so they dont come out too sharp.
