If you're talking about Christianity as opposed to catholocism, buddhism, zenism, mormonism, presbytarianism, pantheism, protestantism, etc- they're all "isms" that are really "wasms". It's not that Christianity is a matter of being better, it's that it is the only faith whose founder is not in a grave (despite that assinine and laughable special they just aired), and it is a faith of revealed prophecy. Name one other religion in the history of the world that ever uttered a syllable of prophecy that came true. Do you know why you can't? Because all those other so-called "faiths" know that if they uttered any prophecy and it didn't come to be, the people would immediately run their asses out of town as being the charlatans they really were. Take a course in Comparative Religion and you'll see for yourself. That there aren't people who have made prophecies in the name of God that never happened, I'm not denying. But those fools are soon found out and wind up mopping floors at Wal-Mart. Oh, and by the way- no all "religions" do not preach salvation. True Christianity is the only faith I know of that speaks of salvation. Forget ALL about those televangelist who claim to have healing powers and all that nonsense. It doesn't work that way. Those FOOLS do more harm to the cause of Christ than almost any other single factor. They have their reward. Look at it like this-there are an endless list of religions out there all of them vying for equal market share; all of them feeding at the same trough. They can't all be right. So how do we determine which One is the right one? Study the Word, prayer, and the First Principles of Logic combined with dethroning yourself and your desires and seeking honestly His will. If you do this, I promise you that you will never quite look at life, people, or the world the same ever again. You won't want to look back.

My religion does not preach at all, and there is no salvation as there is nothing to be saved from. We don't believe in sin, or a heaven and hell. In fact, most religions don't, those beliefs are part of the Abrahamic religions. I believe we all meet the universe in our own way. In my case, it is through science first and then a faith that we are more than the sum of our parts and that there is more to learn, a magic of sorts. I believe that yesterday's magic is today's science and that by learning magic as magic, I will have a stepping stone to begin research into what I cannot explain. My religion is not better than any others, it is special to me and touches my life in a positive way. If you get any other answer, beware the speaker. That kind of arrogance does no one any good.

I can't say my religion is better than others
However, i would like to share a few pointer.
1. My religion don't really 'preach' salvation, nobody can save us except ourselves as we believe in the teaching in law of causes and effect.
2. My religion don't believe in 'god' or 'creator'.
3. My religion NEVER force the teaching down into people throat even we don't agree with the teaching. They just give the teaching and allow us to explore, whether to accept the teaching or put at the back burner when it too profound for our level of mind.
These are just a few pointer that i shared to keep my answer short and sweet.

Excuse me, but all religions do not preach salvation. Also, some religions may not be better than others in some aspects, but they are well ahead in knowledge and wisdom. My religion, my religion studies all religions and accepts no religion at face-or book-value.
(Beware the Discordians they thought wiser than they think, but only on wholey tuesdays.)

I believe that my religion teaches from the bible. It is based on the bible if i ask anything i will receive answers from the bible and not just read to me but they show me and incurage me to read along in my own bible. In other religions they do not even take there bibles or even read then in their churches. It is the word of God so it should be used all the time in teaching. In Matthew 7: 13 It say's Go in through the narrow gate, because broad and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are the ones going through it (14)-whereas narrow is the gate andcramped the road leading off into life and few are the ones finding it. Then you can read verse 15-23 read it and really think about what it say's.

I don't think it is right to compare one religion to another. There are certain teachings in one religion that is not exactly true.
which means one should know how to search for the truth. how would you like to live your life and what do you really believe is really up to you. we are just guided by the religion we are in.

It is only the best one for me, not everyone else. Different people have different ways of viewing the world and different beliefs and that's how it should be, otherwise it'd be nothing but a void of sameness.
What makes it best for me is that it gives me more fulfillment than any of the others ever could and a feeling of kinship.

Salvation? What needs to be saved and from what?
My religion is not the best, and I never said it was.

I do not have a religion per se. I have a personal relationship with God that has developed over a period of many years. As long as a denomination believes that God is the Creator and that Jesus is his son and that Jesus died for our sins so that we may live....I guess I don't think it matters a great deal. Denominations were made by man based on their particular interpretation of the word of God.
