To search inside myself for strength, but to rely on others to hold me up for a second when I don't find it fast enough.

I'm a Baha'i.
I've learned that God is more friend to me than I am to myself. He is more intimate to me than my own jugular. I know He wants me in Paradise. I've learned that He is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful. That's peppered throughout the Qur'an. (Baha'is accept the Bible, Qur'an, and Baha'i Holy Writings as God's Word.)
What I don't fear anymore is death. This is a big relief! In fact, once I gaind the wonderful knowledge of this birth and a sound peace of mind about it, I was SO SO HAPPY!!! Learning this helped me TREMENDOUSLY when my mother passed. On the day she was born into the spiritual realm, I was JOYOUS for her!!! "Momma, you're FREE!!!" It's a birth into the spiritual realm, into the life beyond. It's not a death, for the soul lives forever. We're spiritual beings, going through a physical experience here on Earth. Ah, but when we are born into the spiritual realm, we will no longer be prisoner to the flesh. We will finally be FREE and unencumbered by the physical body and all of its limitations.
WOOHOO, no more gas, lolol!!!
Oh yes, and this is a big big biggie. I've learned to be open and welcoming to learning, specifically about other religions. I've learned to DETATCH FROM FEAR of opening my mind. No fear of learning about other religions, whereas as a Catholic, I was fearful that even learning about other religions was a sin. What a prison that existence was, and what a FREEDOM this is now!!!
EDIT: Ah yes, I mustn't forget... Fnord! lol

Living this life to its fullest and not worrying too much about what the afterlife may or may not bring.
And.
That honor is one of the most important things, because without honor you are nothing.

I have learned that Jesus Christ died for me while I was yet a sinner, and washed me white as snow.
I have learned that if you fast your flesh becomes weaker therefore you can hear from the Lord better and your prayers are more powerful, and that fasting can break bondages that praying alone can not break.
PRAISE GOD

That God is always there for you no matter what. Good or bad. That you should never judge someone if you don't want them to do the same to you. And that life is so much easier once you surrender to the Lord.

I learned that life is a big joke. It's an illusion I might say. In this joke, I gotta make a great life out of it. Ha ha!

I never have to deal with things or people by myself even though I am physically alone. God walks with me all the time and anytime I need his help, he's there. That includes all areas of my life. He has never let me down.
