Being in the Army means that you will already have a work and this will disqualify you to get welfare.

YES!!!! I am active duty military and their are plenty of people in the military on welfare. If one is stationed overseas the pay is good. But stateside a lot of military families are just barely making ends meet. You should look it up for yourself. Depending on the number of people in ones household. It is definitely possible!

Your statement is NOT TRUE, military members have always been under paid. It doesn't matter who is in office we get a raise every year. With our current wages people still qualify for welfare. Get your facts straight PLEASE! Like I said overseas the pay is GREAT. Stateside...People are barely making it! It is a good $1000+ difference in pay.

Absolutely yes.

A military person of low rank (because of the low pay) could still qualify for welfare if he or she had dependents or dependents with handicaps that put him or her under the poverty level.

Bravo, why don't you pull from a reliable source, not just a propaganda video where the narrator only throws curses at people. 90% of the pictures are the bombers after they blow themselves up or their victims. I've been to iraq twice and have seen what happens to them, and it looks like the people on the video. If you want, i can give you a guided tour of tikrit or baghdad and show you personally. Or you can keep believing the **** on youtube.

When Clinton was in office it happened. Now we get paid an amount that disqualifies most of us from welfare.

lazy bums. i work for the welfare system.

That would be a definitive no. You'll be drawing a government paycheck and unless you're home while serving in the military, it would be rather impossible).

Not true!!

We still can qualify for food stamps and all that. I know lots of people who do!

We make a steady paycheck, but its not always enough, especially for younger enlisted with families.

unfortunitly you still qualify for food stamps in you are junior enlisted. you would think the military would get paid better for all they do.
