...Queen Helen makes a deep conditioner called Cholesterol it's geared toward severely damaged hair (you let it sit w/ heat)...I use this on a regular basis but started when my hair was acting funky and I refused to let it go (snip snip)...now every stylist I go to compliments the condition of my hair...
...I got this from goole search and think you may find it informitive:
Yesterday, I ran into an acquaintance who had recently tried both a home hair style perm and hair coloring treatment that went very badly. Her hair was a mess . . . time to wear a wig for a couple of months. She asked for my advice and I told her I would send her an email. Here is my reply:
“
There is no hair care product on the market that will repair damaged hair. Truly damaged hair should be cut off and then protected from future damage while the new growth occurs. Quality hair care products can protect the hair from the damaging heat of hair dryers and curling/flat irons. Look for hair care products that moisturize, nourish and strengthen the hair. When hair dries out it will break. You should limit shampooing to every few days or so, however, you could get it wet daily to add moisture and body.
With a good hair cut you shouldn’t need a lot of hair styling products. Your hair type should be deep conditioned once or twice a month. This means you should use a heat-activated penetrating conditioner. Heat swells the hair so that the conditioner can penetrate the hair easier. You should use a plastic bag and a hood dryer, and let the heat penetrate for 20 minutes to a half-hour. If you don’t have a hair dryer, wrap a hot towel around your head. Actually you should do this deep conditioning more often up front till you begin to feel the benefits.
Like I said earlier, you may need to cut the already damaged hair off and start over. Unfortunately finding the perfect hair care product is a trial-by-error proposition. What works for one persons damaged hair may not work for you. Only a handful of the hundreds of products out there may work for you.
My suggestions for you to try:
Biogenol Replenishing Shampoo by Framesi
Biogenol Reconditioner
Super Charge Conditioner Treatment by Paul Mitchell

Hi,
Try using a hot oil treatment on your hair if you don't want the expense of the hair dresser's. Also the Aussie range for coloured hair is very good indeed it leaves the hair very soft, and there is a 3 minute miracle for the range that's good, if the hair is really bad try using the miracle cure when you go to bed and leave it in overnight. Hope this will help you.

V05 5 minute repair, works really well. It comes with a shower cap and you just rub it in, put the cap on, and leave it for 5 min. It did alot for me when I fried my hair with highlights. But you still need to grow it out. Try getting it layered, that way you cut off most of the nasty stuff on the top and the rest is kinda hidden. Good Luck!

Kerastase makes great products including little glass vials that are amazing! Use protein products, too, but sparingly. Protein can make your hair brittle. Also, use leave-in conditioners and stay away from hot hair appliances as much as you can.

My hair is likewise clearly dirty blonde. I died it black a pair years in the past and it took me almost an finished year to get it blonde back. I had to bypass to a salon (I in many situations do it myself, yet had to deliver contained in the large guns for this). on the salon they positioned gentle streaks all by my hair - that way i did not might want to thoroughly fry all of my hair by bleaching or stripping it. After that, I did yet another streaking consultation myself with blonde streaks and finally I were given it back to favourite. sturdy luck!

you probably want to go into a salon and get a moisture treatment...it will help restore your hairs natural health...and it normally takes 2-3 treatments then get a good moisturizing shampoo and try not to blow dry your hair toomuch...it damages it.
