Please include stories of naval bootcamp and talk about seamanship, ways to advance, your rate, freetime, and education. I signed up and I am excited, my rate is in AECF but I chose ET because it is practical in terms of civilian jobs (no guns in civilian). Yah I askin all the active and veteran sailors. Thanks

Yes I do have experiance in the USN as an Electronic Warfare Systems Operator. (EW) I worked on the AN/SLQ-32v(3) ESM/ECM system

Served aboard two Different ships
USS Halsey CG-23 (hence the name)
USS Kitty Hawk CV-63

A friend of mine was in the navy but all I can tell you is from a female perspective. She said that Navy bootcamp was the easiest compared to other branches.

You will have a watery training and stay in the oceans for a long time with the ship.
