I have been with my boyfriend for 7 years and I just saw that he signed up on a dating site tonight while I was gone. What should I do? Should I comfront him? We have been together so long and lately I have suspected he has wanted out but he hasn't said anything. Someone please help me.

I thought about signing up. I think it is a good idea.

Sign up and talk to him on there.. Just kidding, I just thought that would be funny to say.

Yeah, tell him about it. Ask him why he did it, maybe he just wanted some friends, though I highly doubt that, but it could happen. Confront him because if it keeps going then you'll end up getting hurt and he'll end up with another girl he met on a dating site.

Do you still want to be with someone who has been with you for seven years and cannot commit? If you never see yourself getting married then maybe this is fine, but you might want to ask yourself if this will make you happy forever. Personally I would not want to be with someone that does not want to be with me, but you can always talk to him and see what he has to say about it. Maybe a break after a seven year relationship that has become stagnant could open some new and wonderful doors for you. Please do not be afraid to leave him now because you never know how lucky you will have been for having made this choice. You do not speak of loving him, so it even seems as you have grown tired of this situation and want more out of a relationship than this. I wish you the best of luck.

same happened to me a while back, knowing my bf avoids confrontations & such discussions, tho blunt and out spoken only when he is in the rights all i did was made sure i signed into a singles dating site using his laptop in his house, i pretended to be enjoying it so much, he got jealous and that made he want to talk, so we talked it thru, now we are stll 2gether.

7 years?????he is still a 'just boyfriend'? no commitments? wake up girl...what have u been waiting for? you go get some spice now before u get the shock of your life.

It depends. How did you find out he signed up?

Either way, you two need to talk about what is going on. Bring up the site if you must, but know that you'll probably be revealing your snooping, and that doesn't look too good.

Obviously you don't know him, even after 7 years, perhaps you should ask yourself why you are there. You make it sound like you are imprisoning him, but at the same time you let him make all the decisions about the relationship. Give your head a shake, speak up and do something.

I'd sign up and see if we were compatible. Then, even if we weren't, I'd make sure I emailed him from the site--just to let him know that I knew what he was doing.

i think you should talk about it..... id be lonely if the next time you ask question was how would you move on coz you lost him already... better for you to find out what was happening about your relationship with him.... all will be better if you sit down for a while and talk things out.
