Lawrence M. Enopee asked W.W.J.D.? Well, I am not overly religious, but I don't think he would talk to a lady like that, that's for sure. Why must you talk to people like that??

Anyhow, I have always thought that a traditional style swallow looks good on a woman's wrist. Also, a friend of my wife has humming birds on both of her wrists. That looks pretty cool too. Just make sure that you choose wisely, especially in such a visible spot. Good luck.

Make sure it is something you can live with forever.
My tattoo is special to me so I know I'll never be sick of it. I like to design my own tat's involving the things I think are beautiful. I drew mine with a caligrafy marker I got at a craft store (around $5.00). You might be able to find stencels for fancy print too. Draw it out then take to a copy place and make it in different sizes. Mine was drawn on a 8.5X11 inch paper and shrunk down to about half the size. I was told not to have to many small details because as we get older and our elasticity of our skin goes tattoos will blurr (I wanted a 3 inch tiger and my tattoo shop put it through a computer to show me what it would look like when I got older and it looked like a blob. If you are not an artist bring pictures to a tattoo artist that is talented (some may charge you to do a sketch).
I wish I could see mine more often (on my back), but do like that it can be covered up if I need to make an impression.

I've just had one on my wrist, says 'Forever' in a sort of old english style. As long as the writing is not too big you'll still be able to cover it with a watch if you want it hidden (I've already tried this) I think 'faith' is nice but just make sure that whatever you get, that your certain it's the right one for you!

I can't believe that you would ask a bunch of anonymous strangers, people who don't know ANYTHING about YOU, for suggestions re: what you'll permanently tattoo on your wrist!!! I'm guessing that you're young,.. <25 yrs. old, even if you're not, think about this:

It does not matter WHAT you decide to have permanently inked into your wrist; I'll bet that your opinion of it, (the subject matter) WILL change as you get older. What seems cute and appropriate to you TODAY will, one day, (and sooner than you think) be an embarrassment and an issue of constant regret, especially if it's on a part of your body that you'll have to make an effort to cover up!

Take a look at "Hippie's" answer above and TAKE IT TO HEART.

Be careful with wrist tattoos, they are hard to cover up and i know alot of people that regret them. If your wrist tattoo is bad you will hear a ton of crap about it. Be prepared. I'd say kick the idea around for AT LEAST a year and if you still want faith or inspire tattoos go for it. UGhh.. I'm going to end it there and keep snarky remarks in my own head...

Anything as long as it's a temporary tattoo. Once it's there, it's there forever! Buy a new purse or something else instead. You will regret it if you get the real thing. If you HAVE to get the real thing, get it in a place where everyone can't see it. You'll thank me someday for this advice if you follow it.

i personally like faith better. take your ideas to the tattoo shop where you plan to get it done, they will be able to give you more ideas, and show you what types of letters might look best, or what kind of little designs you could put around them.

I have many tattoos. That said, don't ever get a tattoo that you cannot cover up. Have you ever seen a woman in her '40s at a wedding with a wretchedly tacky tattoo on her ankle/wrist/arm? It ruins the whole effect.
