She is tired all the time and cries, her family, they are good but they don't know what to do, she's older and has gone through lot's of strife lately. She's become a recluse and has forsaken all others, I may be the only friend she has besides God, whom she constantly prays with. Her main problem is financial along with lot's of guilt. I'm afraid she will not overcome this, can you help me to help her?

She seems like she might be depressed.
She needs to get help. But don't force her, trust me i know, when my parents forced me to see a conuselor, i resented them and it made me more upset and angry.
But when I did eventually get help it worked and i am pretty happy most of the time now, sure i have my bad days but thats normal.

SHE needs to realise she needs the help and you need to help her realise, but don't try and run her life, don't force it. Just try and ease her into it and help her to see that she does need it!

She has to be the one to want counselling. I'm glad you are trying to help her. Sometimes just being in the same room is enough. Remind her what her blessings are. Simple things we take for granted, that might help her see there are a lot of positives still.

Eyesight, hearing, speaking, smell, limbs are all attached, touch, smiling, she can walk.

Loosing money and having financial difficulty isn't the end of the world. Pray with her and ask Jesus what is he trying to tell her? For some reason, which no one knows, she's lost money or hasn't gained what she thought. There is a lesson to be learned in this. She will come through a better person.

Ask her to explain to you how guilt feels. If you can get her talking about what's on her mind, there's a chance she'll figure out her own problems without much help from you, other than just listening. Have patience with her, and I'm sure you will.

God Bless You and I hope your friend will come back to life.

Family and friends cannot solve this problem although they can be supportive. Prayer is good. God may be using your concern to lead her to professional help. Your friend needs to see a Dr. ASAP.

It sounds like she may be suffering from depression. It can be a downward spiral. She should be working with her pastor and a doctor. The best thing that you can do is to make sure that she gets help. Thanks for being such a good friend.

She needs to see s psychiatrist real soon. Sounds like she has severe depression. It will lead to something else if she doesn't get help soon. Your her friend, talk her into seeing psychiatrist and that you will go with her if she wants and that you support her. Get her help!
