I asked a few weeks ago if breaking up with my boyf (who was addicted to drugs and alcohol) well we have broken up, and he has moved out. But I have been confused lately. He has been phoning to talk and visiting, telling me he wants to be friends, and keeps on telling me he wants to be alone with no girlfriend. Does he still want me? what is he doing?

He's just looking to see if you still have a weak spot for him and is waiting for you to be weak and accept him back. If you really ever want a relationship with him, you tell him to get off the drugs go to rehabilitation and get his life together first, before he comes knocking on your door again. He is an addictive personality, and you were part of his pattern, so you must break it, because he won't, If he really wants YOU, he will get his act together. If not you will see him moving on with the next woman who will put up with his addictions, until she tires of them like you.

if he's serious about YOU, and REALLy cares, he WILL seek rehabilitaion and get rid of all his baggage!! the only way you can get winning results for your life, is to spell it out to him, his problems will not be yours, and if hes serious about anyone or his life, he will get the help and even then, you would need to be careful. my advice is, wash your hands of the whole grubby scene, and start agin fresh with new dreams for yourself and new goals. Forbid any contact with this guy.
Be strong. get yourself busy, change your phone number for now
and have no further contact with him. sure, its going to hurt, but...it will soon be over, and you'll be well on your way to a wonderful future for yourself!

looks like it , he obviously has an addictive personality cause he gets addicted to everything alcohol, drugs you. just tell him he needs to move on and that you can talk on the fone but not all the time and no physical meetings , tell him he needs help and make it clear anything u had is over and for good.

i dont know he could be sincere or just lying to get close enough to hurt you. Hes on drug and alcohol so its a good thing you broke up. those things can screw up someone's life though so if you want to help him or just be friends with him. invite him but make that you have plenty of friends with you and possibly your parents. He can be dangerous or friendly im not sure, i dont know him.

No, he doesn't want you, but was comfortable in the relationship, and still desires that. I would tell him that you need time apart and to build up to the transition of being a couple to being friends.

the guy is a bad influence at you. unless he goes clean, dont accept even friendship. probably u r confused becoz u still feel something for him. but the thing is, guys w/ such past unless they r decided that they would change, would not contribute on your growth. think very carefully about the friendship he offers...

seriously if drugs and alcohol are his first priority then ur gonna have to deal with the fact that ur "bf" is always gonna be messed up, hes probably calling u because he missed the affection and having someone there for him since alcohol and drugs cant speak to him,... so idk in my opinion somone that does that is not worth it... unless ur into that urself too. but if ur not... then u should ignore him. or make him choose between u or being messed up.
