If I buy a Nissan 350Z, which is a 2 seater sports car, does the amount change if I choose convertible top or hard top coupe?

Yes it does. However, only your insurer can tell you how much it would make a difference. Convertibles are easier to break into than coupes and it affects the theft potential, even if the car isn't high profile for auto theft.

The sportier the car the higher the insurance, also the newer the car the higher insurance. Call your agent and find out prices and which is cheaper.
