taking dimetapp and sleeping pills together?

i just took 1 serving of children's dimetapp, and without thinking took a sleeping pill right after that. it was just a non-aspirin PM thing. Is there any side effects?

You've probably just taken two antihistamines at once, brompheniramine and diphenhydramine, that should cause you no difficulties. There will be a slight additive effect, but nothing serious.
