Of course....if you read the book, you'd know we come from Noah.
Any day you care to have a civil conversation about the flood, let me know. I'll easily show you all the evidence you want and I will use only science, for I know science very well being an ex atheist for 30 yrs.
Research Hercules, Zeus, and all the others....and realize they are the children of the Nephilim, the fallen ones. Hence why they are called "gods" and why the bible tells us not to worship them.
See....if you had done some basic studies prior to shooting the mouth off....you wouldn't look like a fool. cause repeating hear say....will do that to a person.

As a rule of thumb, the Bible never prevaricates unless the versions of the Bible disagrees with other versions.
There are quite a few contradictions by the way. Even were there only two per Bible that would be 4000 prevarications at this time.

Well I can't say a lot about Adam and Eve except to say you can't create nothing from nothing Unless you want to say your fore bares were apes if you want?
Regarding Noah, Well archaeologists and geologists have found evidence of a flood, actually around the time the Bible states?
As for Samson I have no Idea why you plucked that name out and considering all the other overwhelming evidence that has be proven of the Bible, Torah and Parts of the Koran I personally Believe God but faith foremost and evidence is still seeping out as it is discovered for Non Believers but as a Christian it is not for me to force the issue.
Best wishes in your search for Truth

Noah's flood actually happened at least two times in history that can be verified, the most recent being 2000 BC, and there are 5 eye-witnesses reports extant.
If Sampson is just Hercules, how did the writer get so many details right about the Philistines and their Minoan ancestry?

Wow! Incredible! This is the first time anything like this has been posted in this benighted forum! Simply by invoking the Hercules mythos you have caused me to renounce twenty-five years of well defended faith! Amazing!
And I can't keep a straight face anymore. I hope your fellow atheists find this post more amusing than I did. I just find it tiresome and somewhat juvenile.

Can you back up your claim? And by what, means did you come to that conclusion? If not then how can you say the bible is nothing, but lies. How do you know where, the lies begin or end, and where the truth starts and stops? But maybe it holds more truth, then you are willing to litsen, or, are willing to accept.

I would not call it lies; but it is certainly erroneous. In order to call something a lie, I would have to see it meet four criteria:
- The statement is false.
- The speaker knows that it is false.
- The statement is made with intent to deceive.
- The statement is made with intent to deceive to the listener's disadvantage.
I don't think that the biblical authors fail test 2, let alone 3 or 4. But they screwed up big time on number 1.

Think of it this way, the bible was meant to convert uneducated common people by using "Gospels." The more people you convert, the more followers you have, the more followers you have, the stronger fiscally and physically church leaders become. So as far as the bible lying, no it doesn't, its just "Spreading the good news" to convince more common people to join the cause.
