I met this guy a little over a month ago and went on a date on the last day of January. Anyway, he turned out to be cute and we had a lot in common. Anyway, after our very first date he's like 'well, I'm going to be busy with work for the next three weeks because someone got fired.' Anyway, my yahoo wasn't working how we normally talk to each other. So I call him by his cell over and voer and I get nothing. A week later when I finally get my messenger working he says, he never uses his cellphone. Anyway, so we get back to talking on messenger of course whenever he has the time. He's usually on for only a tiny bit and then says he has to go. I couldn't use messenger for another reason and tried contacting him by phone again and he still never answered. Finally, I said I am just going to look for another guy. It's been 3 weeks and I'm rarely even seeing this boy, much less talking to him. He says he lied about his age, that he's really not 25, but that he is 29 and he only said he was 25 because my age range is 18 to 25 because I am only 20 years old. I am kinda pissed but of course he is very sweet and says he no more lies and no more me looking for other guys. he wanted to by a new car. Anyway it's now March and we haven't even gone on our 2nd date yet. He said that we were going to his past weekend but something else came up with his job and he also said we might go out today but he wasn't on messenger.

If this guy lied to you about one thing, you have to wonder what else he's lying about. If he really liked you then he would have kept in touch with you, and would have made the time to see you again. It sounds like the only reason he contacted you again was because he knew you were looking for someone else. Plus he sounded like a jerk when you mentioned your grandma dying. Find another guy closer to your age and someone more worthy of dating. This guy doesn't seem trustworthy. Besides, there is probably a good reason why he's single.

Forget him . you are young and will have too many opportunities to find somebody who really loves you. At first it may be difficult but after you could break up with him for 3 months you will understand how easy you can forget him.

it *really* doesn't look like he's that interested in you. the cell phone thing is ok, he might just not be into phone conversation, but if i were interested in a girl i would find some way to make time for another date.
