Why all the negativity towards Muslim people / religion on here. I'm quite shocked on the number of questions that point only negative people who happen to be Muslim. Unfortunately, not everyone follows their religion, but it does not mean that the religion is to blame. When are people going to realize a murderer and criminal can be Christian, Jews, Hindu, white, black, brown or whatever.

Hi,
Not to worry, these are just phases over the centuries. Over half a century ago, a Mr Hitler stroked similar sentiments towards his people. I guess the current status as referred by you started when a Mr Osama became a household name. It will pass over time. Each human being has equal importance. Believe in yourself and do not worry too much about "general sentiments" which are not reflective of individual sentiments.
Cheers.

The religion is not to blame? Was it not the Muslims that rioted around the world when a newspaper printed a cartoon about Mohammad? How would a Muslims know what he looked like anyway? Is it not Muslims that are shown shouting "Allah Akbar" when they saw the head off an infidel? Is it not true that the Qua ran basically teaches Muslim or death? If a Christian converts to Islam we pray for him. If a Muslim converts to Christianity he's marked for death. And you say it's not the religion? Explain honor killing to us all. Why in Islam if a women is raped she can't confront the man who raped her because she needs another woman as witness (women count as 1/2 a person). And if she does come forward she faces death in an "honor killing" because she has shamed her family for having sex out of wedlock. And you say it's not the religion.

There can be rotten eggs within any organization bearing ny name but this doesn't change the fact. More Muslims need to be on the street protesting against the suicide bombers and other terrorism. Sadly when it comes to protests on this occasion they are markedly silent. I try to look for good in peole and have repsect but in all honesty, I cannot see why any parent would want to raise a child in a faith that seems to be a hornet's nest of violence. I realize not all Muslims are like this but too many are and the ones who aren't need to to come out of hiding and speak up. I would add to the person below. In a very rare occasion would I suggest any superiority. I will say unapologetically that my beliefs in not believing in targetting children and civilians is superior. I am ot interested in defending the hateful attitude that is all to pervasive within some circles of Muslim culture. Converting the world to Islam will sove nothing. They can't seem to stop fighting among themelves either. And this has been going on for centuries. And there is little hope for resolution as forgiveness and valuig human life seems to have little value within some of Muslim culture. Sadly they are so blinded that they fail to realize the world will only tolerate so much and inevitably they will bring destruction upon thier own children and countries.

I'm currently studying the Bible with Jehovah's Witnesses and the woman that studies with me has learned arabic along with her husband, because we have a large middle eastern population close to us. They have had many very pleasent experiences with Muslims and have commented on how polite, kind and hospitable they are. The world lives in a state of fear because of the times we are living in. I agree wicked people are everywhere and come from every religous/ethnic population on this earth. I realize we have differences in religious beliefs and books but perhaps you will find this scripture comforting. Plsalms 37:11 "But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace."

Every body’s talking depends up one’s source of knowledge. Now-a-day, TV channels are the main sources of information. Mostly the channels are under controlled of Anti-Muslims. This is hard luck of Muslims.

My question would be when are we going to see all of the non-violent Muslims stand up against terrorism and take their countries back on their own? Why is there not more outrage by the non-violent Muslim community?? Where is it? All I see is more car bombs. If the violence is propogated by a fanatic few, why is it still happening daily? Where are they getting their weapons? Where is this peace loving religion?

Read the following headlines. These are all the heinous crimes committed by Muslims in the last 48 hours. If you can't figure it out why the world is learning to hate Islam, I'll give you some more tomorrow. No doubt your co-religionists will murder more:
106 massacred in Iraq during a holiday celebration:

Peace force attacked in Somalia on arrival (what a surprise!)

Taliban kidnap three (no doubt they'll cut their heads off without a sedative, peace-loving people that they are)

Their religion has problems. It openly INSULTS and BLASPHEMES Christianity and Judaism.
Neither the Jewish nor the Christain faiths OPENLY blaphem them, because those faiths came LONG before them! So our books don't "put them down" like their books put us down.
And there are all the Citations in their books on defeating the non-believer.
Then there's that guy who had sex with a 9 year old girl. You don't have to be religious to be bothered by that one and it's documented and they admit to it! AND they require you to PRAISE him!
Now, those who just bow and pray and believe in Allah, they don't bother me.
It's the ones who embrace that other stuff that bug me.
It's the fact that EVERY Islamic nation openly FORBIDS importation of goods from Israel.
It's their insistance on their own SPECIAL COURTS in other nations that aren't Islamic.
If they don't like the rules of those nations, don't go there!

I dare you to try this experiment:
Say something bad about Christianity, and see if you are deleted.
Then, say something bad about Islam, and see if you are deleted.
It's as simple as that.
Don't judge any religion until you see how it affects its followers. If a religion teaches you that it is a glory to God for you to kill non-believers, it is just a matter of time until any one of the followers will suicide bomb someone. I will probably be deleted for expressing my opinion.
