The long, cold months of winter that keeps us indoors is beginning to show in my legs and thighs -- it's winter flub!
Now that warmer weather is around the corner, it's time to get ready to feel the burn, working the flub away. I know next to nothing about excersize and fitness, what's the best kind of excersize to burn away the flab?

Anything you can do that is active is great. It takes 3500 calories to change a pound. If you add strength training your body will naturally burn more calories longer due to increased lean muscle mass. When doing aerobic exercise do spurts of intense work every few minutes to increase calories burned by bringing up your heart rate. Shoot for 30 minutes (start with 5 minutes warm up and end with 5 minutes cool down)of walking (biking, or whatever) with fast walk or walk up an incline every 2-5 minutes. Make sure you eat every 3-4 hours to help your body produce fat burning enzymes.
