ok i want to get my girlfriends name tattooed on my armbut i want it to look cool but still mean somthing so i want her name in a tattoo like this

ok maybe shes not my girlfriend but shes my ex and i will alway love her no matter what and if my next girlfriend cant except that then she not the one for me

I've hidden names in more "geometric" ways (my partner has my name on his knee... the letters of my name are found in the design and overlap)
Try to find a good tribal tattooist and give an idea of what you want... they probably won't charge you, but you *should* get tattooed by that artist unless you have a damn good reason not to (such as hygine or being heavy-handed...) in that case, pay for the design and take it to someone you feel comfortable working with.
If you can manage to make it not-so-obvious, you wouldn't have to explain the significance of the tattoo, it would just look like a piece of flash you picked from the wall of a parlor.

curious...how old are you to be getting a tattoo of an ex gf and not caring if your next gf likes it or not?? I don't think that it's necessarily that she's not the one for you but it may make her feel like she's constantly being measured against someone else that was in your past. Regardless of whether you say "oh she's just going to have to accept it" - I think that you would potentially feel different if the roles were reveresed and she had her ex's name tattooed on her because she loves him and always will...and if you can't take it...then that's too bad for you....
Think of it this way too....kind of selfish of you isn't it if you're not going to consider a future gf/fiance/spouse and their feelings?

you should never have your girl or boyfriends name tattoed on you. ever! there's a high possibility that you two will break up and then what about the tattoo? it will be a constant reminder of the dreadful breakup you had with that girl. plus, when trying to find other girls,they will hate seeing another girls name on your arm. DO NOT get her name tattoed on to you. instead you should get "mom" on there.

NEVER tattoo someones name on yourself unless it's your own child!! this is the worst idea, instead get a tat of something that is meaningful and related to your relationship...some suggestions..if you went to the beach alot togethor..something beachy. wht if you guys breakup next week? gl
