Are they coming out with a colored iPod Video?

I want one for my b-day but I dont know if I should get one, cuz they might come out with a colored one!

predicting future Apple products is one of the most difficult things to do. They are notoriously secretive about these things. That being said, with the advancements in NAND memory (made by Samsung) and used in the Shuffle, the Nano, and the upcoming iPhone, it is highly likely the entire iPod line is going to go through major updates through this summer.
Still, as I said in the beginning, predictions of their products are to be taken lightly, but you may want to wait. Of course, in the end, buy the best you can within your budget and be happy with it. Remember, as soon as you buy technology, it's outdated. If you understand this, and accept it, you'll be happier with your purchase.
