Anybody medically discharged from the military after knee surgery?

I was wondering what type and what was the reason.

I was in Airborne school with a combat controller trainee who at that point had had complete reconstructive surgery in both knees and one ankle. That leads me to believe that they don't kick people out too often for knee surgery.
