I'm sure you are fine and just need to get used to doing strenuous work that you don't do everyday. Still a lot of stuff can have an effect on you. This used to happen to me then I found out I had asthma and didn't have enough oxygen going through my system. Also make sure you are hydrated (avoid caffeine), dehydration can make you feel dizzy. Eating a well balanced diet is a good idea as well. If you continue having problems you should get checked by a doctor and I would let your fitness instructor know you felt dizzy so they are aware. Keep it up and it will get a little easier every time.

You should try hyperhydrating before a run. Up to 1/2 a liter is okay. Only before exercise though, and if there is too much water and not electrolytes, sodium and potassium, you can have water poisoning, hypernatramia.

breathe through your nose and out your mouth. You can also breathe out your nose but don't breathe in and out with your mouth.
