I find the more facial hair I let grow the more people think of me as a father figure. The other side is like ewww. This wasnt an issue 20 years ago or even 10 years ago. Why are the bearded reacted to this way?

I don't like long, untamed beards and mustaches.. actually I don't prefer mustaches at all. But I do like a little bit of hair on the chin and side of the face when it's not too long and has a style to it. I think my boyfriend looks handsome when he let's his grow. Mainly, these days facial hair is seen as unprofessional, but I think it's controversial.

I love my mans facial hair. Just don't grow a mustache (ew), a full beard (older-looking) and make sure that it is always maintained and not unruly.

when you are in your 20's and late teens/sometimes early 30's it can be attractive, but once you hit your 30's in many cases it makes you look older...and when you are a young person, it doesn;t make you look like old old...just older...but once you are in your 30s and up...you start to look...too old...and people like younger people ... as in ... not over 40 or 50 looking because of a beard..
and it HURTS!!!(girls)
