but the officer told me the computers were down tonight and issued me a ticket. Will a warrent be issued for my arrest for driving under suspension? Even if I mail in my fine?

They will run it when the computer comes back up and then it will be at the officers discretion really. You should not be driving so whatever you get you deserve.

You are very lucky. If the officer could have verified that you are suspended you could have been arrested. A warrant will not be issued just because you got pulled over and were under suspension. The fact that you are suspended means that there is a distinct possibility you already have a warrant out for you. You need to get this taken care of IMMEDIATELY. You also need to pay this most recent ticket or there will be another warrant issued for you. And quit driving until you get your license reinstated. Contact the court clerks office and ask whether or not you have a warrant. If you do get it taken care of and then contact your DPS or DMV and get your license reinstated.

Maybe, maybe not. Depends if they bother to check. Pay your fine right away and cross your fingers. If you go to court, the prosecutor will have your driving record with him and you will be nailed in court.
If they do check and find the suspended license, a cop may well show up at your with a very expensive citation for you.

If you were driving on a suspended license AND speeding, I would hope that they take your license away for life and put you in jail.

You have no business being on the road.

You know, these kind of things happen when you refuse to follow the rules of society. So, you get what ya get, so don't throw a fit! That's my little 9 year old's saying. She hates "bad guys."

he will probably contact you to serve you the additional ticket. If you duck him then you may get a warrant.
