If it is a common name (ex:Smith, Jones) probably not likely, but if it is an unusual name then the chances could be good. I do however, have a friend that's last name was Wright and she married a guy with the last name Wright. It was really kind of cute. They were no relationship. Just do some background and root checking to find out if you are related.

NO you wouldn't be related unless they had the same mother or father then you would be half brother or sister
