I want to loose weight but I can't. I'm always hungry, and sometimes if I'm bored I'll just eat just because. When I exercise my muscles build up and I gain more pounds because of muscle! I have a slow metabolism I'm guessing. I'm 14, what can I do at home. REMEMBER IM FOURTEEN SO NO PILLS AND STUFF. QUESTIONS:

HOW CAN I LOOSE WEIGHT EXERCISING WITHOUT INCREASING MUSCLE?
WHAT CAN I DO TO TAKE MY MIND OFF FOOD?
WHAT MEALS WILL KEEP ME FULL LONGER?
HOW CAN I BOOST MY METABOLISM

Whatever you do, don't crash diet. Skipping meals, or eating one food item only will be much less beneficial than doing it the right way. Eat small, healthy, mini-meals more frequently. Eat breakfast within two hours of waking up, it get's your metabolism going for the day. Drink only water, and a lot of it. It will help you feel more full, obviously helping you to not eat as much. Also try just keeping yourself busy with schoolwork, or hanging out with friends outdoors. Atkin's diet(low/no carb) is very effective, IF you can handle cutting out so many carbs. It's very easy to lose weight quickly if you eat 30 or under carbs a day, but it's also very limited, and as soon as you start eating your normal carbs again, the weight comes right back. I'd suggest a weight-watchers type of diet. Healthy foods, water, yogurts, bagels, carrots, salad, etc. A lot of fruits that may sound healthy have a lot of sugars in them, and really aren't that helpful for losing weight. I'd suggest setting a healthy goal, and having a lot of determination. Look up weight watcher's information, and you can find a lot of foods to help you lose weight. Hope some of that helps out! Oh, also, try to work out for at least 30 minutes a day, working up a sweat each time. If you don't have a membership to a gym, get outside and run, not every day if you don't want to increase muscle. If you can't do that, push-ups and crunches inside are always a simple option. Break a sweat evvery timee. Good luck, and everytime you want to eat icecream or cookies, think of what your goal is :) And if you do want a sweet, I recommend CarbSmart icecream from the grocery store, it's sweetened with splenda, but it's really good!

I am aligned with an international research and development company that, for the past 20 years, has been providing people around the world with herbal formulas that synergistically work with the body.

They have a weight management program as follows:

1) A pre-meal tablet to support the feeling of fullness before a meal, so your portions and energy intake can be controlled. It also assists healthy digestion.
2) A formulated meal replacement to make sure one of your meals every day is kilojoule controlled and full of goodness.
3) A capsule designed to support a healthy metabolism. Your metabolism is the rate at which your body uses kilojoules - it makes sense that a healthy metabolism can help keep you trim.

Drink water. I've noticed that drinking water suppresses my craving for food. Or chewing gum - that also helps. But warm water does the trick the best, but you have to drink it at once, like chug it down, kind of thing. A sip of water really won't do.

To help keep your mind off food, try doing something else and keep yourself occupied. I had that problem a few weeks ago, actually. And right now, I'm slowly getting myself off of the habit of wanting to eat just because I have nothing to do. I would eat and continue to eat even if I wasn't full. But the best way is just to do something else. Another method is if you limit yourself and keep with a schedule. Let's say, you don't eat anything after nine o'clock at night. Try your best to follow through with that. I had troubles at first, and slowly, I got used to it.

It all depends on what you eat that can keep you fuller. I've noticed that eating an apple helps me feel fuller. People say Oatmeal, but that didn't really keep me that full. Mini Wheats - those yummy cereal, keep me full. I like those, because they are tasty and you can just pop them in your mouth. Drinking water can also help, but it is a pain to always have to pee.

Fruits seem to help me a ton in boosting my metabolism. Flax seed as well. I have yet to add Wheat Germ into my diet.

eat every 3 hours, very small meals with protein and fiber. That will keep you fuller longer. Also exercise by walking for at least 30 minutes daily. You will lose weight, just stick to it!
