After all the treatment she may just be irritated and not a problem. Just keep close watch, they are hard to get rid of and reinfestation is not that uncommon. Especially if they still have them at school. Just keep watch and use the little comb every night to keep them out if she should still have a nit or two. It's soooo common. Good luck. Look under homeopathic treatments to see if there is something you can do for a while to resist them.

Conditioner and comb technique
The conditioner and comb technique is a very effective way of detecting and treating head lice however you will need to continue treatment every day for about ten days to ensure you remove all the lice from your child's hair.

The conditioner works by stunning the lice for a few minutes so they still enough to be combed out. If you want to give this technique a go follow the steps outlined below:

1. To dry hair, apply enough white hair conditioner to cover scalp and all hair from roots to tips. Use an ordinary comb to apply conditioner evenly.

2. Leave conditioner on for 5 minutes to stun the lice.

3. Part hair in sections if long and thick. Place white tissue or material on a flat surface underneath the head.

4. Change to a plastic fine-tooth head lice comb and comb each section of the hair.

5. Start with the teeth of the comb touching the scalp and draw the comb flat against it from the root of the hair to the tip. Comb until conditioner is removed.

6. After each stroke, wipe comb onto white tissue or material.

7. Under good light and with a magnifying glass, look carefully for lice on the comb, the tissue or material. Note that recently hatched lice are hard to see. You may see eggs.

8. Remove all lice and any eggs from the comb after each stroke.

9. Place the tissues into a bag, seal and dispose.

10. Scrub combs (using an old toothbrush) and wash material with hot water for at least 30 seconds to kill lice.

11. Rinse conditioner from hair.

12. Repeat conditioner and combing every 2 days until you find no more head lice for 10 consecutive days.
