haha, lol i had to do the same thing. Go to start, accessories, system tools, then system restore. This wont effect any of your word documents and the like. All you need to do is find out when you upgraded to media player 11 and restore to the day before that!

The same thing happened to me!!! Go to Start. Control Panel. Add or Remove Programs. Window Media Play 11. Remove.

There should be a System Restore. It puts the computer programs back the way it was before downloading or upgrading.
Or, you might find the upgrade under "Add/Remove" and can uninstall the upgrade.

Uninstall it, then go to the microsoft/windows media player web site and under the new one is a list of older ones you can download

Just go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs. There should be installed program for both WMP 10 and WMP 11. If you uninstall the WMP 11, it will automatically revert to WMP 10.

...If you don't like it..you could try removing it by clicking on ADD/REMOVE software section and remove the program....download the version you wanted and reinstall it
