I'm 16 (junior). There's this girl I've known since freshman year that I like. We talked some in freshman year when we had a class together, but this year, we don't. We're in last period together with her best guy friend (who has a gf), and they're really good friends. She and I never really talk in class anymore since the seats were changed, but neither do they, so i guess that's not too bad.

Whenever anybody says anything about me, she always defends me, even if wut they're saying is true or funny. Also, I IMed her recently (just for conversation) and asked her if she wanted to come to a get together for my birthday in April. She said sure. Later in that conversation, she said that "her live is really boring" and that she wanted to start goin out more. That convo, was 30 min, and one before it was 70.

Does anybody think that she sounds interested? Wut should I do? I really like her and think that this is a good match.

i think theres a very good chance she does like you! SUCH a good chance, that you HAVE to ask her. you cant waste anymore time. just dont overthink it because whenever i overthink something beforehand, thats when i convince myself to do it later, or talk myself out of it. so figure out what youll say right now. then tomorrow..or whenver you next see her dont even think about it, about what youll say, etc... and just DO it. that always works when i'm nervous about anything. your probably talking yourself into thinking that the outcome will be much worse than what it will be in reality.

It's totally obvious from what you say that she's interested in you.

If you don't do something about it soon, she'll rightly think you're an insecure wimp.

Get back to her and ask if she'd like to do anything earlier than April.

this is too much of a generalisation, but yes, she could like you!
She might just mean she'd like to go out more often, not necessarily go steady or anything.
Ask her out on a date or something, I don't think she'll say no :)

All the best!
