I would seriously sit him down and talk to him about it.
Does he get pissed? Throw stuff? Kick gates, doors?
Learn to see the red flags of behaviour and if things get worse, leave. It is better to convey the perceived behaviour and leave than just to leave. This way he at least has a chance to rectify his behaviour.....
depending on your answer above, he may need a therpist to deal with anger issues.

Yep, back off now. It's a red flag. Not your problem to carry the weight of his unresolved issues. Matter of fact, only he can do that, when he's ready to. Not your place to even tell him so.
