why doesn't he start conversations with me? he says he's not the talkitive type but i'm his girl friend he's spossed to talk to me! I think hes either shy or doesnt like me which one do u think it is?
p.s.
he has eye contact with me when he talks to me and he stands up for me too!

I think your expecting to much. Did he talk to you before you started dating? If not then why do you expect him to now. If he did talk to you before then maybe hes just not quite sure of your realationship. Give him time and a break or if you cant stand it anylonger then dump him because hes not what you want. Either way dont keep bugging him or he might come to resent you.

find something he is interested in. maybe you will find something new to do together. find out his love language.
read a book (well, the back of it)
"the 5 love languages" there are two quizzes in the back, one for you and one for him. you will find out what his love language is and than you won't even have to start a conversation.
I had that same issue with my husband. Now we are married of course, but I am more understanding to his untalkativeness because i know what his love language is .
by the way, you don't have to read the whole book. we just took the quizzes (10 minutes each) and read the passages quickly about our answers. that's it
now we have all kinds of stuff do rather than talk about.

I think he's telling you the truth. Some people aren't talkative. If he makes eye contact when he does talk, and he stands up for you...there's no problem. Let him be who he is.

Sounds like he has problems talking to people. Ask him questions that he cannot answer with a 'yes' or 'no.'
