It would be very stupid of your aunt to get mad at you for trying to help her.You know you are doing the right thing,so keep up the good work by doing so.Give her healthy food only.Give her water insted of juice.Cut small Pisces of fruits and vegetables and leave them on the table for her to snack on.She may not like it at first. But if there's nothing else, she'll eat those.Make portions smaller.Remember the size of her stomach is the size of her wrist.Dress her warm and take her out for an hour of walk. You are really brave.Good job, that child will thank you some day.

This is the parents job and not yours, but you can offer only nutricious foods in your house if you wish there is no harm in that, but do allow her cookies just don't over do it. Two cookies for two snacks a day is just fine and two percent milk can be added to that. At meals fruits and veggies must be and a small desert allowed again not a big helping.

You can do indoor activities that are fun and will help with the weight but this is really up to the mother. However if you do it in play no one will know the difference, but if she is not liking it, just leave it alone.

I would do my on exercise and if she wanted to join in let her.

Do fun stuff like jumping rope, or dancing, and you need only do it for ten minutes. These are fun ways to sneak this in without anyone noticing that you are trying to exercise her.

Now what I am concerned about is the fact that you think she is over weight, every person has an idea of what they think is over weight so you really need to know what is right for her size and structure, don't just assume that she is over weight, you can find growth charts all over the internet. I am not poking fun but I am just saying make sure you know what you are talking about.

And do be careful about the child. This is a very delicate subject and this could potentialy hurt feelings so be very very careful of what you say and do.

Good luck.

If you're stuck indoors (because of the weather, for example), and you're concerned she's not getting enough exercise, you can try these things I do with my 3-year-old son on bad weather days:

* Hide and seek (where you hide and she seeks)
* Put on some music with a good beat and have a dance
* Set up a "circuit" around the house...for example: run 3 times in a circle around the kitchen, then crawl under the dining room table from one end to the other, then do some jumping in place in the living room...
- just come up with something fun and active to do in each room (if you have stairs, use them too), and then praise her when she finishes the circuit. Remember to do as much of it *with* her as you can...she'll have fun trying to "beat" you.
* Get a big blanket or towel and throw it over her head - if she enjoys getting out from under it (my son really loves this game), keep doing it til she gets tired of it.

I can't imagine why your aunt would get mad. Children at 3 years need exercise every day! It helps them sleep and keeps them healthy.

Good luck!

Well she is only 3, you should only be concerned if the doctor is concerned. But you are right in giving her fruits and veggies, she is learning to eat healthy which is a good start. Some good indoor activities to burn off some energy our personal favorite is turning on music and dancing around, it is fun for everyone and you are getting a work out. My girls (they are 3) love to dance to Laurie Berkner, her songs are great for little ones and give motions in the songs. Have fun with her, just run around be crazy!

i might have the mothers and fathers supply groceries for his or her son. It shouldn't fee you to feed their baby. as a exchange of feeding him 2 or three times make the food smaller and extra unfolded. Like oatmeal packet for breakfast if he's hungry an hour later provide him the call of say an apple or an orange, lunch a sandwich snack carrot sticks or celery sticks, and so on and so on. At your place have wholesome possibilities for him to make. you have gotten the mothers and fathers supply a bag of apples and carrots for at your place. Or which ever snack you all come to a selection on. do no longer enable him to have severe sugar snacks or cereals jointly as on your care. additionally if he is going to be eating while he receives domicile i does not feed him the two, till your loved ones is eating jointly as he's there. eating in front of him does not be a competent difficulty to do. formerly you your self enforce a food plan of the youngster ensure you already know precisely what the wellbeing care provider has reported to do. you may ask that the mothers and fathers set him up with a dietitian so which you already know what he could and should no longer be eating.

Well her diet is for her parents to deal with & putting a child on a "diet" is a bad idea, THEY need to change her eating habbits. Make sure to never bring up her weight to her, this even at this early of a age can problems with her self image later on. One way YOU can help is when you watch her, be active play things that require her to move about & not just sit & watch tv or sit & play.

Not too much fruit, fo rit is high in sugar. Watch the sweets and juice. Try to stay as active as possible, and not just sit around. my daughter is 2 and we play chase and hide and go seak. We also dance and act silly to burn energy when stuck inside for several days.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!

Get started today!

Hmm! I know! You could bundle her up nice and warm and you guys can go have snowball fights! That will get her out and running around!

Or! Inside, you can play hide and seek, where the person that is found has to run to home base! :D

Personally I would leave the weight losing up to your aunt. I am a parent and I would probably get upset about something like this....leave it up to the parents....thats why they are parents...I know you are just concerned but I think it's a bad idea.
