No one goes to heaven, so the question is moot.

Great question! You deserve a star for your persistence in attempting to lure atheists into heaven, but no star from me!
First, atheists do not dream of accepting Christ! Secondly, a real atheist most likely would not be dying to get into heaven even if he or she should suddenly learn that indeed god does exist! After all, the majority of atheists, in the above instance, would be headed for hell so that the poor unfortunate, who (for the sake of the argument) had dreamed of being saved upon his/her deathbed and thus earned an unwelcome place in heaven, would most likely be regretting the error and be hoping to relocate to hell!

His salvation depends on what God saw in his heart, ultimately. How his acceptance of the truth in a dream affects his chances depends on how much of it was actually conscious thought or just a "scripted" dream, I would think.

Very good question.
It is possibly, that God, in His infinite mercy,is the one who gave the dream.
I would say that it is certainly possible. To have a dream such as this, would indicate a soul that understands it's desperate need of God's provision of salvation through Jesus Christ.

That's a good one.
Jesus knows the heart even better than the person. Jesus only is judge. He hasn't said anything about how He'd judge that one, probably because each occasion would be different, based on the heart, not the head.

I am a Christian myself and I believe that since he was dreaming about it, he did NOT make a concience decision to follow Christ because they were dreaming. But only God has the ability to choose were we go.

Probably not. I had a dream about a gas leak last night and woke up startled.
There was no gas leak, just like there is no heaven.

As an atheist, I don't believe in heaven or hell, so you would just disintegrate into the world and follow the organic chemical path.

Maybe the heart is in the sub-conscious, who knows. Only God knows a man's heart.

.... A person has to knowingly accept Christ into their hearts and lives to be saved.. If he dreams about it and doesn't ever do it, I feel very sorry for him..

He's heading non-stop for hell. He should have had that dream back when we first started telling him the truth.
