How does a mounted archer store his bow?

Question

I am drawing a picture of a mounted knight holding a sword, but he needs to have a bow in his possession. Does the bow go in a quiver of sorts, and is it stored infront or behind him?

Traditionally, mounted archers hold the bow and store the sword... mostly for tactical reasons. Although if he did store his bow it would probably just be tied to the saddle somehow, and in the back.
