Can you watch British DVDs on an American made DVD player?

I am going to England in a few weeks, and I want to buy some DVDs for my favorite British films and TV shows that isn't aired in the United States. I have a DV-C36 Pioneer Elite DVD player. Will a British made DVD work on that?

No. You would need a dvd player that has a no zone or a British zone code. My apple laptops let me play it but I can only change the code back and forth 8 times. The world is divided in zones like Europe, Asia, by countries. If you really want to watch those dvds then ebay has the best deals on no zone players and portable dvd players
