Yes I have and yes it did work.

Spells are very complicated things. Many books out there have spells for every day life, when in reality spells should be used rarely and with great forethought. Spells are not something to play with.

To honestly do a spell takes a great amount of concentration. It takes a great amount of planing - not about which moon phase or house is correct but about what your intentions are. You must also be able to take responsibility for your spells and accept any and all consequences for them. Chanting, and it harm none, will not prevent something unexpected or even bad happening.

Don't want to be a downer - but I see a casual attitude towards spell work and ritual now-a-days.

Having said that, I have had great sucess with the few I have done. Many of took place over several days, and required a great amount of motivation, dedication and discipline. No spell is the same, and circumstances vary with every instance. I would never use a canned spell, so doing it again the same way is out of the question. Also, always tailor your work to the situation.

I have been practicing witchcraft in the context of Wicca for thirteen years, and have had many spells that had positive outcomes.

To choose a recent one... a friend of mine landed in intensive care with a deep infection in one arm, and ended up with a deep wound that simply wasn't healing and an infection that just wasn't going away despite antibiotic treatment. After a week of this, she asked our full moon worship group to perform a healing ritual for her. We did so, raising energy through chant and using an offering plate that she had painted for us several months ago as a "channel" to her frequency, then directed the energy through that connection into her body.

The very next day, the intractable wound began to heal -- fast. The ward nurses were amazed at her sudden turn-around, and within a few days the wound had closed and she was able to go home again.

It might have been coincidence. On the other hand, it might not have been. In any case, knowing that we had performed the ritual for her brought her greater peace of mind.
