When the concentration of electolytes or any other solutes in the human or animal body increases , solvent mostly water moves under osmosis or other gradient to bring the concentration to normal levels. If the concentration increases in blood thirst centre is stimulated and the human or animal feels thirsty and takes more water to normalise concentration.
