Two 25 yr. old African American females want to have FUN in New York. Clubs, museums, shopping and food!! We want to feel like we got the best out of our trip. The Color Purple on Broadway is our main attraction.

You can get tickets for the show the day of the show for much less than buying them online. Check out the clubs near timesquare there is one called Life and Bungalow 8 is where all the famous people hang.

Make sure you go to the Met and the museum of natural history. They are the two best museums in the city in my opinion. Shopping try 34th street penn station area, and Soho.
Food, just check out the link below, it will give you a great overview of all the cool restaurants in the city.
I'm not a big club guy so I can't really help you there. But I know that the meatpacking district is the trendy area for clubs in the city. Have Fun.

dont buy tickets to the color purple online. if you go the day of and buy them at the ticket booth they are half price which is $59. if you are into spanish/mexican cuisine there is a restaurant on West 4th Street called Tio Pepe it was Zagats best Mexican/Spanish cuisine last year. they have the best margharita ever and their food is amazing and prices arent too high. theis website is tiopepenyc.com
